Boating, Kayaking, Canoeing and Fishing: Potomac River, Cacapon River

Gaming: Rocky Gap Resort in Maryland forty five minutes away and Hollywood Casino in Charlestown one hour away.

Hiking: Cacapon State Park, Tuscarora Trail, Sleepy Creek Public Hunting Area, C&O Canal, Eidolon Nature Reserve, and Paw Paw Tunnel all have trails.

Historic Parks: Antietam National Battlefield, Harpers Ferry National Park, Fort Frederick State Park are an hour or less away.
